A well written posting on Soviet Tenors

SAVt wrote about Vlasov:
Vlasov started his way in the Theater as a soloist of the first row, but then turned out being practically irreplaceable in many second-row roles, because of that not gaining the fame and recognition his talant deserved
A row tenor!  SAVT praises his English language skills!

Lorenzo Abrunedo (1836-1904) Cylinder

This was stolen by Arakelyan from the website Historical Tenors  to put on his YouTube Channel.  Of course Arakelyan did not mention that.   I wish to thank Historical Tenors  for pointing that out to me.

Delfin Pulido

Arakelyan is promoting a double CD of Pulido.  Many recordings are unknown as being sung by Pulido.  Unfortunately for Arakelyan, it has been proven by the two surviving sons of Pulido that those recordings are not by Pulido.  What a crook!

Buying from arakelyan

Do not buy from Arakelyan,  you can get the same files for free when exchanging with Historical Tenors

The Soviet Tenors site

I went to visit that site because I was insulted by the owner and the review I read about him on  Historical Tenors.
The funny review is on The ballad of Igot and the Soviet Tenors
I visited some of his so called biographies, they are completely simplistic, almost meaningless and seem to have been written by an uneducated person.
For better information with references visit Historical Tenors.

Arakelyan Carasa entry on Forgotten Opera Singers Blog

This entry is very funny.  Arakelyan cannot spell his name right.  He does not state that he got the picture from the New York Times.  Carasa had a very short career due to his lack of proper training and starting to sing around 20/21 years old roles like Canio.
Unfortunately Arakelyan could not copy from Kutsch & Riemens,  because there is no entry. in the reference.
