Arakelyan contacted on YouTube George xxx complimenting him on the recording of his father.
Unfortunately George knew Historical Tenors for over 10 years. George asked who is Arakelyan? George was referred to this blog, while Historical Tenors commented on YouTube with the link to this blog.
Arakelyan immediately sent the following message to George:
Hello Dear Geroge, thanks a lot for your story about your great father.
Though now I almost do not listen recordings of the singers who sang in
1950/60s, but your father's recordings I enjoy from time to timeespecially
his fantastic Che gelida manina, one of the best version of this aria,
A little bit pity that quality is not so pure, but voice is one of the bests.
I also regret that your father has not received that glory which he was worth,
but it always with great persons, however I think that you must be really a
happy person, because your father is one of the best tenors of all time.
